Ahoy mateys! We had so much fun yesterday, that we decided to extend the hunt thoguh the weekend! You can still get the goods from our piratty trove!



In honor, come by Livingtree see if you can find the hidden treasure! Located somewhere on the island is the secret pirate's cove, full of private pirate property! Start in the middle of the island (say hi to Jose the parrot), then search high and low for a treasure chest full of fun pirate goodies! It'll be fun for child and adult avatars both!

New springy ride-on animals!

Brand new from You Know, For Kids - the playground spring animal!

I'll admit - there are many others who've made rocking springy animals on SL, but most use a script that requires you to turn on and off the rocking motion manually, helping to contribute to laggy playyards with rocking, riderless rides that need constant supervision.

Not these! Thanks to some scripting help from Robin Sojourner, these spring animals will start to rock you when you sit down, and -- better yet -- will stop when you get up! No more lag from unused but operating rides! Perfect any place made for child or smaller avatars, and where you don't want any extra lag!

Three super cute varieties available that'll make you smile: a chicken, a duckie, and a piggie!

It's the end of the Summer! Come down to Livingtree this Saturday, September 1st at 8:00 p.m. SLT and celebrate at our last Summer Fireworks Show of the year! It'll be the biggest blowout we've ever mustered!

Refreshments will be provided for all. Event is free of charge. All are welcome, so come on down an enjoy.

You Know For Kids! is no longer in the Playland Mall, due to the sad closure of this venerable kid's location. We wish Cricket Nelson the best on all her future endeavors!

The roots but not seedheads can be used much like Echinacea. It is an astringent used as in a warm infusion as a wash for sores and swellings. The Ojibwe used it as a poultice for snake bites and to make an infusion for treating colds and worms in children.
