You Know, For Kids: Playland Mall and other locations!

You Know For Kids! is no longer in the Playland Mall, due to the sad closure of this venerable kid's location. We wish Cricket Nelson the best on all her future endeavors!

My store remains in all its other locations, including our flagship store at Livingtree, within its own wing at Robin (Sojourner) Wood's Kick The Can store. Livingtree

You'll also find some of my most popular goodies at my other You Know, For Kids locations: Inner Child Depot, booth 103 (Fletcher) and ClownTown (Masquerade Island).

What do I make? Animated, spinning pinwheels, Underwoos, EZ Bake ovens, Bright-Lites, "Slow: Children At Play" signs, kids' lamps, and my lemonade stand, playground slides, incredible low lag kids picnic tables, a "Playground" sign, and even more goodies!
New at the Plant Stand: Black-Eyed Susan

Look for the latest flower to be added to the Plant Stand!

Black-Eyed Susan
The roots but not seedheads can be used much like Echinacea. It is an astringent used as in a warm infusion as a wash for sores and swellings. The Ojibwe used it as a poultice for snake bites and to make an infusion for treating colds and worms in children.

It's also pretty, and a great late summer/early autumn splash of color for most environments.

This joina our other herbs and plants currently for sale: amaranth, basil, corn cockle, dandelion, geranium, hawkweed, lavender, mallow, mugwort, mustard, oregano, orchid, parsely, poppies, rosemary, sage, and yarrow - and will look great in one's home or garden.

Affordably priced, and only five prims. Can be modified and transferred, making it great for a gift.

Plant Stand: Four fresh herbs and plants!

Look for four new varieties to our, ahem, growing collection of plants and herbs!

Amaranth
In ancient Greece, the Amaranth was sacred to Ephesian Artemis: it was supposed to have special healing properties and as a symbol of immortality was used to decorate images of the gods and tombs. It is considered astringent and a decoction of the flowers has been administered in spitting of blood and various hemorrhages.

Poppies
The "opium" poppy was known in very remote times. It was originally used only as a medicine, the practice of opium eating having first arisen, probably in Persia. Unexcelled as a hypnotic and sedative, and is frequently administered to relieve pain and calm excitement.

Rosemary
The Ancients were well acquainted with the shrub, which had a reputation for strengthening the memory. On this account it became the emblem of fidelity for lovers. It holds a special position among herbs from the symbolism attached to it. Not only was it used at weddings, but also at funerals, for decking churches and banqueting halls at festivals, as incense in religious ceremonies, and in magical spells.

Yarrow
Yarrow was formerly much esteemed for healing, and its old names of Soldier's Wound Wort and Knight's Milfoil testify to this. Yarrow Tea is a good remedy for severe colds, being most useful in the commencement of fevers, and in cases of obstructed perspiration.
